October 2020 saw Saltwells gain a Green Flag Award.
The team at Saltwells commented “We are so happy to have been awarded the Green Flag. It recognises all the love and hard work poured into Saltwells by its staff and volunteers to make it shine. It also highlights the investments that are being made by Dudley Council to ensure this ‘jewel in the crown of the Black Country UNESCO Global Geopark’ is a place fit for all our visitors, whether they have come from around the corner to walk their dog or as a tourist from the other side of the world. Either way, its official; we’re bostin’!”.
